MEET KYLE FULTON:
SPOTLIGHT'S VERY OWN BLUE MAN

When he left the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, in 2016 to begin a career on Broadway, Kyle Fulton had no idea he would become a Blue Man.
Kyle has been performing with Blue Man Group since 2019, after getting cast while living in NYC. He has been a full-time performer in both the New York and Las Vegas shows, and now he is thrilled to be with the show on his first touring production.
In his off-time, after relocating during the pandemic, Kyle lives north of Seattle on a natural farm, where he's been learning and sharing methods of sustainable living and regenerative agriculture. He is passionate about finding simplicity and peace in an ever-hastening world, and inspiring art and creative expression through the stewardship of nature.
PARENT TESTIMONIAL:
"Kyle fell in love with theatre at about the age of 8. (I was secretly thrilled that soccer didn’t take.) A few years later, we discovered that Lisa Mitchell was opening her musical theatre academy and we jumped at the chance to enroll.

Kyle spent most of his childhood Saturdays - until he graduated from high school - with Lisa and her amazing group of teachers, who were all theatre professionals in their own right. Lisa and her staff treated the kids like future professionals every day. Encouraging but tough. Demanding but never unkind. A bar set just high enough to make you want to try to reach it. And thanks to Lisa and her program, Kyle reached it today.

He has been officially signed to the Blue Man Group. He was the ONLY one to make it through the year of drum lessons and the intensive 8-week training program. They threw the trainees onto the NYC stage live starting in week 2. Trial by fire for sure. But Kyle made it through by being open to direction, being emotionally available, and being willing to push himself to try new things on stage and off — all traits he learned over and over again at Spotlight Musical Theatre Academy. We couldn’t be happier and we have so much gratitude for Lisa and her incredible program."

"Wow! Our huge 15-year old athlete grudgingly agreed to take theatre camp this summer, as a part of his "I don't want to get a summer job" negotiation. He groused about it right up until we dropped him off. He got home that night totally engaged. He worked his tail off all week - singing, dancing & acting. He voluntarily put his social life on hold and completely focused on the numbers. We were in complete shock (& were thrilled!).
He and the other participants knocked our socks off at the final performance. It was like watching a Broadway troupe. I was literally in tears most of the time."

"Spotlight has become a mainstay in our daughter's life. Not only has it been a lot of FUN for her... not only has she grown in her artistic capacity through the experience, under care of expert faculty... but she has also grown as a person."

"The amazing teachers at Spotlight have drawn Emily out of her shell. The lessons that she has learned at Spotlight have helped her academically and socially. The little girl who had trouble looking others in the eyes has no trouble speaking before groups now!"
