Since 2016, eight separate Spotlight Travel Troupes have performed across the country. Competing six times at the National Performing Arts Festival (NPAF) at Walt Disney World and at Universal Studios in Orlando, each competition receiving Superior marks. Our troupe has twice been awarded the only award of its type, the Showcase Award for both the 2018 & 2023 Festivals (1st Place) and in 2024 won the Adjudicator Award (2nd Place)! In 2019, our Troupe traveled to New York City to perform on a Broadway stage with the cast of The Prom (nominated for 7 Tony Awards, including Best Musical) as part of the Voices on Broadway tour. Despite the pandemic, our 2021 Travel Troupe rehearsed both in-person and online and competed in the Musical Theatre Competitions of America (MTCA) online in March 2021.
